Reviews

“Kocia szajka. Zagadka zniknięcia śledzi”

The author, by using stereotypes and even reversing their meaning, introduces comedic elements into the story. The book is filled with funny gags, witty remarks (which can be successfully quoted later on), and distinctive characters and personalities that make the whole thing even more interesting!  Bajkochłonka

„Z miłości? To współczuję. Opowieści z Omanu”
We read these stories in one breath; each subsequent one opens up new compartments in our minds and evokes different yet strong emotions. What I like most about this book is that it raises doubts, showing that nothing is obvious, and nothing can be stated with absolute certainty, prompting reflection. People are different, they need different things, and books like these facilitate understanding and familiarization with something that may seem incomprehensible at first glance. I am impressed that through such books, I can learn about the world.

Agata Romaniuk’s reportage is a delightful read. […] While it may not be a guide to the country, it certainly serves as a guide to Omani souls, customs, and passions. It’s a fascinating read.
