Interviews

,,It’s worse than it was two years ago. What’s happening in the world – not only in Poland, we’re experiencing a sort of civilizational-cultural regression – I often colloquially refer to it as the ‘counter-revolution of men.’ Not everyone, of course, but those who perceive a threat to their own position in a world striving for equality. From where this position stems and has stemmed for millennia, I’m not entirely sure,” says Igor Brejdygant, screenwriter, photographer, and writer, author of the crime novel “Rysa”.

,,I escaped to the mountains, to get away from time, because functioning here is getting a bit exhausting.” -Igor Brejdygant

Reviews

“I don’t think any book has ever impacted me during reading quite like ‘Wiatr’ by Igor Brejdygant. The author brilliantly captures the atmosphere of the places he describes. Even now, I remember the shivers down my spine as I followed the main character through the snowdrifts on the Tatra trails or the atmosphere of the inns that hit me even before Laurent took his first sip of alcohol. That’s why when I heard about the new crime novel by this author titled ‘Sieroty,’ I knew I was in for evenings with an intriguing story. And I wasn’t disappointed. Brejdygant invites us into the depths of an exceptionally dark and unsettling tale that draws us in more and more, wrapping us in its claws so subtly that we can’t stop thinking about it.” – Anna Joanna Brzezińska
